Willie Creek Pearls is owned and operated by the Banfield Family. The Banfield family moved to Broome in 1989 when they purchased Broome Coachlines. Not long after operating tours throughout the Kimberley with Broome Coachlines the family then purchased the Town Bus Service.
The Banfields then acquired the Willie Creek Pearl Farm and now operate four pearling showrooms including Broome’s most awarded remote jewellery showroom located 38kms north of Broome at the company Pearl Farm. Two of the other showrooms are located in central Broome at ‘Chinatown’ and Cable Beach. The newest showroom is located in Sorrento at Hillarys Boat Harbour in Perth. For more information on the showrooms please navigate to the ‘showroom’ page.
The Banfields also own and operate Pearl Luggers – the heritage attraction in Chinatown which was first established by the Arrow family, and Broome Sightseeing Tours since early 2010.
