Our award-winning tour gives unique insight into the fascinating process of modern cultured pearl farming, from shell to showroom. You’ll discover exactly what makes the perfect pearl and leave Willie Creek a pearling expert!
The journey starts with the collection and spawning of oysters in our state-of-the-art hatchery, then moves on to the delicate operations of seeding and harvesting oysters, and finally the valuing of pearls and the creation of stunning jewellery.
You’ll cruise Willie Creek’s azure waters and view live oysters suspended in their natural environment amongst our native flora and fauna.
We have several different tour options available depending on how you wish to travel to Willie Creek Pearl Farm.
All tours include a delicious morning or afternoon tea and selected tours have a pre-booked breakfast or lunch option available on our 11am tour for self-drive or coach*.
If you would like transport from your accommodation in one of our air-conditioned coaches then our “By Coach” option is for you. If you have your own transport you may be interested in our “Self-drive” option. If you would really like to travel in style, why not try our “By Helicopter" option – an experience you won’t forget!
