
Willie Creek Pearl Farm is situated just 38km out of Broome or 17kms as the crow flies, on the picturesque protected tidal estuary of Willie Creek itself. For more than two decades, visitors have come to the farm to learn about the process of cultured Pearl Farming and to see first-hand how the most valuable Pearls in the world are produced. The calm and nutrient rich waters of the area make it the perfect spot to see the Pearl-producing Pinctada maxima oyster in it’s natural habitat.
The crystal clear waters and mangrove lined banks of Willie Creek are home to all kinds of wildlife, from barramundi to brolgas and even a few saltwater crocs! The journey out to Willie Creek is just as exciting, and our visitors are often welcomed by wild brumbies along the way.
Willie Creek Pearl Farm is complete with it’s own jewellery showroom, showcasing stunning Australian South Sea Pearls as well as Pearls from all over the world.

Willie Creek Pearl’s commercially farm the revered Australian South Sea Cultured Pearl at our sea lease just 10 nautical miles off the coast of Broome. Inside the calm waters of Willie Creek itself, we farm a small amount of oysters allowing visitors to see first hand what takes place out at sea every day.

Cold drinks and ice creams are available for purchase through the Willie Creek Pearl Farm showroom.
Morning and Afternoon Tea is still served as part of the scheduled Willie Creek Pearl Farm tours.

You can get to Willie Creek on one of our Coach tours operated daily, by helicopter or by driving yourself.
If you are driving to we suggest you allow an hour travel time. We recommend a 4WD due to high tides and rain occasionally affecting access to the Pearl Farm.
