We ensure exit access is free and clear at all times by:
Ensuring all areas have more than one exit, with no seating obstructing access. These doors are used regularly and remain clear at all times to ensure a safe and easy exit.

Service Animals
Willie Creek Pearl Farm provides a secure area with shade and water for service animals. Service animals are welcome throughout the site, with access to all areas except the nursery for safety and hygiene reasons. Fresh water can be provided upon request, and staff are happy to assist wherever needed to ensure the comfort and wellbeing of both guests and their service animals.

The grounds of Willie Creek Pearl Farm are fully accessible to wheelchair users, with wide, easily navigable pathways and multiple ramps connecting the raised decking areas. For guests who use wheelchairs, we offer a personalised land-based tour during the boat portion, ensuring they receive the same detailed insights and information as those on the water.

Willie Creek Pearl Farm has the following amenities/systems in place for entry:
- A drop off point close to the entrance
- A path of access to the building is slip resistance and even
- A path of access to the building is clear of obstruction
- Glass doors are fitted with a visual sighting strip
- Door jams/doors are of a contrasting colour to surrounding walls
- Signage is written in a contrasting colour
- The entry door is a minimum of 850mm wide
- The entrance sill is less than 13mm
- There a clear space of at least 1500mm x 1500mm in front of all doors.
- The entrance door mats have a thickness less than 13mm and a width of 7500mm or greater

We have a limited number of pathways on site that are longer than 15 metres and currently do not include resting places or seats. However, the main thoroughfares around the Farmhouse, dining area and garden spaces do feature ample seating. We understand the importance of regular resting points and are exploring options to enhance this. In the meantime, we are happy to provide a portable chair on request, though we acknowledge this is not an ideal long-term solution. Paths with steps are not yet formally marked as non-wheelchair accessible, and step-free routes are not currently signed. That said, the layout of the site is largely circular, allowing for smooth wheelchair access around key areas from any direction.

Steps have the following amenities are in place:

- Top and bottom steps are easily distinguished through colour contrast or the use of TGSIs (Tactile Ground Surface Indicators)
- The underside of all staircases are enclosed or protected to a height of at least 2 metres
- Handrails fitted to all open sets of steps

All steps around the main area of Willie Creek Pearl Farm are 3 steps or less. Depending on the tide, the stairs required to access the boat may exceed three steps.

To avoid cross-contamination of food products, we use clearly colour-coded chopping boards designated for different types of ingredients. All items in our dry store are well labelled and properly boxed, with similar labelling practices followed in our fridges and freezers. Our Chef maintains a strong understanding of all ingredients ordered and stored on site, ensuring careful handling and preparation at every stage.
